Congresswoman Shelley Berkley
Congresswoman Shelley Berkley
In 2002, Congresswoman Berkley first partnered with The Century Council in bringing the Brandon Tells His Story initiative to Nevada. The initiative paints a powerful portrait of the consequences of both underage drinking and drunk driving to students all over the country.
In 2003, Congresswoman Berkley again partnered with us to help launch the Alcohol 101 Plus program, which is designed to educate college-aged students about underage drinking and how to make responsible decisions on campus.
From 2004 to 2006, the Congresswoman partnered several more times with us on a variety of initiative-spotlighting events, demonstrating her ongoing commitment to the fight against drunk driving and underage drinking. These initiatives included additional Brandon Tells His Story presentations, BAE: Blood Alcohol Educator, and Judicial Education events.
