WASHINGTON, DC--Today, The Century Council, a national not-for-profit organization funded by distillers dedicated to fighting drunk driving and underage drinking, recognized Washington Attorney General Bob Ferguson with its 2013 Leadership Award. During his tenure he has shown an outstanding commitment to fighting drunk driving and underage drinking in Washington.
The Century Council has worked with the Washington State Office of the Attorney General for many years and is pleased to continue these vital efforts with Attorney General Ferguson. He also bolstered these efforts via traditional and social media encouraging youth and parents to have a discussion about the dangers of drunk driving and underage drinking.
“In just a short time in office, Attorney General Ferguson has established himself as a leader on the vital issues of drunk driving and underage drinking prevention,” said Ralph Blackman, President and CEO of The Century Council. “We look forward to our continued partnership with Attorney General Ferguson and working with him to save lives in Washington State.”
