
In 2005, General Lynch partnered with The Century Council at a middle school in Providence to launch Ask, Listen, Learn: Kids and Alcohol Don't Mix™.
General Lynch also brought the Brandon Tells His Story program to 6 different high schools in Providence from 2005 through 2006.
In 2007 he partnered with us, in addition to Siri Mullinix of the U.S. Women's National Soccer Team, to present Girl Talk: Choices and Consequences of Underage Drinking™. General Lynch visited a high school to discuss the dangers of teen drinking with 75 female students and athletes.
Most recently, General Lynch participated in 2007's We Don't Serve Teens Week, a nationwide campaign designed to deter underage drinking by reminding adults that providing underage drinkers with alcohol is unsafe, illegal, and irresponsible. General Lynch kicked off the campaign in Rhode Island with a press event in Providence.
The Century Council honored Rhode Island Attorney General Patrick Lynch for his outstanding commitment to reducing drunk driving and underage drinking on August 26th.
"As the current President of the National Association of Attorneys General; General Lynch has dedicated his Presidential term to improving the safety of our nation's children," said Brandy Nannini, Vice President of Government Relations for The Century Council. "We applaud Attorney General Lynch's leadership and honor him for the progress he has made to reduce drunk driving and underage drinking not only in Rhode Island, but across the United States."
