Turning a blind eye is as irresponsible as putting a drink in their hands.

Working with the Federal Trade Commission and other national organizations including The National Alcohol Beverage Control Association (NABCA) and The American Beverage Licensees (ABL), retailers and community organizations use The Century Council's We Don't Serve Teens materials to serve as a reminder to parents and other adults that providing alcohol to teens can mean serious consequences and to encourage them to speak up about underage drinking. For more information on the campaign or to order materials visit www.dontserveteens.gov.

The highlight of the campaign was "We Don't Serve Teens Week" which included seventeen events (16 with States' Attorneys General) taking place nationwide from September 10th – September 21st, 2007, a national television public service announcement which aired on The Golf Channel, Bravo, A&E/History, Discovery Networks and others, and a print ad that was published in Time Magazine, USA Today, PEOPLE, Good Housekeeping and The New York Times. Additionally, we secured more than 20 million earned media impressions highlighting the efforts of "We Don’t Serve Teens Week."

Over 627,000 pieces of We Don't Serve Teens campaign materials were distributed in support of the program. Campaign materials can be ordered here.
